THE PROBLEM

Schools across the nation are increasingly facing tighter budgets
and music is often one of the first subjects to be cut.

Interlude takes advantage of
idle crowds at festivals &
events to raise awareness for
music education.

THE GAME

Work together to release the music that has been trapped! Using your mobile device as a slingshot, collaborate to pop bubbles containing instruments in the songs playing. The more bubbles you pop, the louder your instrumental track in the song will be heard. Work together to Save the Music and play songs recorded by local artists.

THE CAUSE

VH1 Save the Music foundation works to expose the
benefits of music education and build sustainable
programs across the nation.

THE BENEFITS

Quality music education

Engages students in the classroom and increases graduation rates.
Improves early cognitive development, math and reading skills.

Playing an instrument

Nourishes the process of learning building skills in sensory integration, attention, critical thinking, emotional maturity & motor capacities.

Who is impacted

2.3 million students have been positively impacted, 231 schools districts across the country, and thousands of instruments donated.
